Thank you Mr president, I was in the same situation as Lilly. I worked very hard and did extra, but everytime a promotion came up? it was always given to a man I trained. I also found out that I was making a dollar less than the men that came after me. I ended up quitting because I thought I couldn’t do anything. Thank you on behalf of my sisters, my aunts, my mother, grand mother, and my daughters.

Good Year, this story could as well? be about Smithfield Packing. The women in customer service found out that this white guy, with less experience, was being paid over $10,000 more a year than the women in this dept. HR did nothing, they were only upset that the secret got out. Some went to the EEOC and was shut down and discouraged. This is your America.

This has been be fought for so long, and women still do not get equal pay. This needs to be passed & enforced because women are falling behind daily. And we have to live on less when we retire also…..And we? have to work harder than the men to keep our jobs.
