@shanr12586? stop being so naive. Why don’t you ask the Republican opponent (Romney, Gindrich, Santorum, and others) to use their money for the deficit. The opponent twist everything that comes out of their mouth. Where is the truth in this campaign cycle? It is with Barack Obama. Mitt Romney is a good man but will say and do anything to get elected, not to mention what Gindrich will say or do.
The money will not and is not supposed to be used for the deficit.

Baucus received $3,973,485 from the health sector, including $852,813 from pharmaceutical companies, $851,141 from health professionals, $784,185 from the insurance industry and $465,750 from HMOs/health services, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
I believe that this is just more propaganda from a failing party and president. Please give me some concrete reasons why Obama should be re-elected? ? I am not saying the republicans are any better, both parties lately have been only trying to benefit themselves and put more money in their own pockets.
I just have a lot of questions and I just don’t understand why the 1 billion dollars that you may or may not raise shouldn’t just go towards the deficit ( I believe all the money raised should just go towards the deficit) instead of raising? money and the the one who raises the most wins the nomination, that’s bad politics Jim the fact that you want to just raise so much money so you can spend it on propaganda and twisted statistics.

1. The american debt is in trillions, 15 trillion. Your deficit is a bit less thanhalf of the federal budget, which is about 3,7 trillion for 2012, the deficit is 1,1 trillion.
2. Congressional salaries and benefits won’t even make a dent in your deficit.
3. The Affordable Care Act was passed through Congress.
If we wanted to get out of debt for? sure why not look at Congressional pay/ healthcare plans? Also i still don’t understand why the healthcare bill was passed and congress doesn’t have to participate?
