Since we’ve now decided the KKK is Democratic, should I assume that all current members love Barack Obama?
If I were to visit the Worldwide Church of the Creator KKK compound in Idaho, and I said to them, “Hi! I contributed $2000 to Barack Hussein Obama’s election campaign in 2008 and I plan to do it again in 2012,” I assume I would be welcomed with open arms, right?
This would only make sense because, as we have now been instructed by the brilliant conservatives on Yahoo!, the KKK sympathizes with Barack Obama’s political party, the Democratic party.

Southern Dixiecrats were obstinate to change, that’s why most of the South is now Republican.
The Democratic party was once the party of the South, and it remained so up until the 20th century. FDR’s presidency saw both the Democratic and Republican parties become mixed with Southern Conservatives and Northern Liberals. It wasn’t until the Civil Rights act was passed and the subsequent Republican ‘Southern Strategy’ which lead to a complete ideological flip between the two major parties.
The Republican party didn’t fully become the ‘party of the South’ until 1994 with the ‘Republican Revolution’ which saw the Republican party become overwhelmed by Southern Conservatives.
Some Southern Conservatives continue to vote Democrat for the sake of tradition, just as some Northern Liberals continue to vote Republican for the sake of tradition.
