No. It’s probably because he wants to raise capital gains tax to 28%, and do nothing about the gas tax.
His comments helped. And I’m sure his weak stance on Hamas, Iran and national security didn’t help his case either.
Oh..he’s also inexperienced and has no idea what he’s getting himself into or what he’s talking about. When all else fails he just starts rambling about special interests (you know…the kinds he’s had through his entire political career)
According to blacks, racism only exists if hurts the feelings of black people. According to Mr Wright and black theology, black supremacy is the word of God. It’s acceptable to condemn whites and blame the God D_ _ _ USA for their miseries. Do we really want America to be run by radical black liberals?
Look at the statistics of any city that has a black majority and you will see crime, murders and drugs more than 10 times the norm. (Detroit/DC/Baltimore/Philadelphia/St Louis……..)

He lost a lot of potential votes with his bitter comments . He lost even more through his mentor Uncle Jerry , and his book , The Audicity of Hope in which he made the statement ” I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction ” .., sure doesn’t help his cause.

Nope. He wasn’t winning Florida or Ohio(and wouldn’t need to to win) before the comments anyway.
Most people are smart enough to know what he meant by his comments, that what he stated was a fact and that he wasn’t insulting gun owners or people of faith.
As for the electoral college and other polling Rasmussen, which has proved to be one of the most reliable polls, shows either democrat having the advantage in electoral votes over McCain.
I don’t thinik the electoral college favors either more against McCain now. The big difference will come when the dems choose a candidate. If McCain can get 5% of the voters whose candidate was edged out, he could win. Will it happen? I’m not sure.
I respectfully disagree.I am a National Guard soldier. A fellow National Guardsman that I met at a military school said many people in his state (Pennsylvania) are bitter. But Bitter-gate aside, voting for any candidate because of a mis-stated word seems emotional. The positions of America’s policies on the economy, the war and healthcare is what matters. If anyone disagrees with the policies of McCain but votes for him because of Obama’s bitter comments, speaks volumes about that particular voter and I’m inclined to believe that voter never had any intentions of voting for Obama ever. Also, Christians forgive and a true Christian will look past any ill spoken comments and do what’s best for the country. Our soldiers dying in foreign lands because of a manufactured war is wrong. It’s time for our heros to come home.
