Why did John McCain avoid looking at Barack Obama?
During their 1st debate, he didn’t once glance at Barack Obama. Physical appearance tells you he is racially prejudice.

The explanation I heard (from a somewhat politically connected Republican) is that McCain had made the point that we don’t talk to rogue leaders, that we don’t even acknowledge them. And to prove his point.
I think he was too embarrassed by the lies he has told and by the lies he was telling. It’s a lot harder to lie about something when you look them in the eye.
Try again, the McCain adopted a minority. He may just not like Obama as I, don’t like Obama

I was thinking that if John looked at Barack, he would blow his top off. The guy looked like he was about to burst with anger. I am really concerned if he became President. So much anger and negativity. It really was depressing and sad for me to listen to McCain. And to think I once liked him until I noticed how many times he voted for Bushes policies. I think he signed a secret pact with him.
Bad manners. I just think he and his VP candidate were very disrespectful during the debates. Funny how they both espouse Christian values, but tend to disregard them at every occasion.

He probably would have lost his temper or even cried if he he looked at Barack too much.

He can’t turn a certain way due to his years of torture and the pain he still has. It wasn’t that he was avoiding looking at him.
Because MCcain was mad that obama was pointing out the truth about his plans
