  1. Jackie Oh! says:

If you don’t get it by now, you never will.

  2. Bootn says:

he seems willing to solve the crisis at hand

  3. dumdum says:

Because he’s more fit than McCain who’s very old for his age and has dementia.

  4. Pens says:

I’m with you. He’s in WAY over his head.

  5. stefani says:

    he’s younger than McCain

  6. TNT says:

    I want to know too?

  7. pablo_asasa says:

He knows how to rig an election?

  8. Maggie says:

I do not think Barack Obama is fit to be President. I voted for McCain as well. I was pretty upset last night. But Obama got voted in, by a majority of ignorant people who didnt know the facts. So, now those of us who voted for McCain have to take defeat with class and pray to God Obama proves us wrong.

  9. Meggy Jo says:

    Doesn’t really matter now.

  10. Lo. ? says:

    I don’t. I wonder that everyday.

  11. Ellen S says:

I voted for Obama because McCain sucks badly.

  12. Laughing McDonald says:

hmmmmm, I guess he is more fit than the guy he is replacing.

  13. Justin1241 says:

I’ll admit i have no idea. Everyone seemed to rally around change. Tax cuts, out of iraq, cheaper energy, unviersal health care were the top reasons I’ve seen

  14. VISION says:

    A NEW AMERICA

As Kennedy once had said if you recall, ‘’Ask

Not what America can do for you’’, but

Eventually say,’’ What you can do for America.’’

Well it cannot be much different now,

As Obama cannot CHANGE the world over night,

Maybe he is right to say today, ’’Change will come

Eventually, yes, it’s on its way, maybe a year or few away’’.

Remember for the world change in many a way is over due.

I still repose HOPE, in the goodness of man, when, INTEGRITY,

COUNTRY and WORLDLY PROSPERITY, is uppermost in ones mind,

Alas in Obama hopefully, America does, sincerely HOPE, find.

LONG LIVE AMERICA AND THE WORLD STAND SIDE BY SIDE.

    SECOND

    CHANGE ALONE IS PERMANENT

I recall Martin Luther King, some time long ago

He spoke ‘’I have a dream’’ so be it,

So must have Obama, the world needed the most indelible,

Also the only permanent aspect of human and natural existence,

As change is inevitable, as it is desirable

Yesterday as I stood at Times Square,

And later at Ground Zero and as I stood,

In awe and silence beneath the tallest black skyscraper,

I as Vision had a glowing vision,

Of an Obama sweeping across all barriers

To make the Global village smaller by holding the world economy

In his palm and see the world without any qualm.

It was then that I knew though I could not profess,

America’s time had come for a real time ahead

To monumentalise my minds eye of the,

Most inevitable of Creators’ orders that whatever it is

‘’L ET change be the cornerstone of all existence’’.

Raise thee Americans, above colour, caste, creed and religion,

Touch not values of personal consequence,

Rise above the level of snails’ speed,

To become a world an International leader indeed,

Come help the world out of an ailing depression,

Let economy flow out of recession and greet Obama,

With open arms, as he leads America beyond imagination,

To bring about a change, that the whole world wide needs

And stamp a mark of indelibility.

Let us join hands and ring in a New Year with Obama,

At the helm and let the international arena follows Obama.

God bless America and through the nation, Obama too,

Through him all the countries that make up a worldly village, a

Modern times indelible and deliberate creation.

    ‘’Hello Canada’s’’ Greetings for

    ‘’Hello America’’

  15. grump56 says:

I don’t but I don’t think McCain is either. I am just hoping that the new moderate Democrats take control, and tell the liberals to piss off.

  16. Carissa E says:

because he is. I mean just look at him speak. He is full of promise and hope. I love him and he will be a great president.

  17. hint0122 says:

i dont think he is fit to lead.

  18. Mark H says:

His fitness never mattered and wont matter. He could ruin the country financially and all of his supporters would still be happy. He is the best con artist in this century.

  19. Gabriel V says:

I don’t. Obama’s proven to be a fraud, what idiot needs 4 years more proof?

  20. cufcchic199 says:

    He’s not at all….

  21. Fastone says:

Because if your truly wish to be honest you will see that he has run the most successful campaign possibly in history and as a result has unified enough people to achieve the singular event of the 21st century to date.

  22. scruff says:

Why do you think he isn’t???????? Mmmmmmmm

  23. red says:

    No, dark days ahead.

  24. Blah B says:

Well, think about this. The majority of the US voting population thought Obama was much better fit to be president than McCain. So, it is not just a few people that see him “fit” to be president, it is the majority of this country. Go Obama! And yes, I am white.

  25. Stranger07 says:

Well Barack Obama is a very smart man.. The way he speaks is amazing and we do need a change..We’ve been under a republican government for years and it only got worse, like literally Bush should be ashamed of the way hes giving the U.S to Obama.. we need change we need something new.

  26. susisays says:

He isn’t fit! He’s never manned up to vote anything other than *present*, he has radical friends, an American hating preacher and has never RUN anything. God save this country!

  27. jacinto_mauricio says:

THIS IS REALLY A STUPID QUESTION….

  28. Demetri McCamey for Naismith PoY says:

well he can still play basketball.

  29. JMB says:

After eight years of little georgie bush, you can doubt his fitness for the job? A paramecium, would be able to do a better job than what has been done during the past eight years.

  30. =)) says:

Then you’re probably an idiot that voted for Bush his second term.

Bush was a huuge factor for McCain’s loss. If McCain wouldn’t of said that he agreed with Bush 90% of the time then the race would have been a closer one.

  31. Phatguy says:

Because he’s black, everyone knows that is the best qualification

  32. dudeguy says:

McCain’s plan to ignore the economy (away from the debates) was deplorable. Barack Obama has a plan to address the issue early and also used it to gather more supporters.

He’s intelligent as a Harvard Law graduate. He’s even more fit to be a leader than Bill Clinton was in 1992, with even more experience than Bill. Bill led our economy to the highest economic boom in 30 years, and in some facets the highest ever in the history of the nation. With Bill Clinton’s chief of staff by his side, Bill on his speed dial as an ex-president, and Joe Biden to compliment Barack’s flaws, the Obama-Biden ticket was truly superior to McCain-Palin.

  33. Love Changes Everything says:

McCain is not fit to be president and neither is Obama. I think Hillary should have won.

  34. sekhmet says:

He has a vision and shared his dream of rebuilding America and repairing damages made to allies in his speech. He has an amazing task at hand and while he may be ‘inexperienced’ he will work diligently at restoring the USA image across the world. That is so important, with Bush at its helm the USA lost so much of its stature on the world political scene.
    ,

  35. Charles S says:

You seriously don’t know why Obama is unfit to be president??

Were you hiding under a rock?

  36. ?Vivª Lª Vidª l??? ? ™ says:

He’s different and he will bring forth a different aspect to America not only for history purposes but for the American people as a whole.

If you don’t think he’s fit to be president then so be it but you seriously need to get over it and realize that he is your president now and there is nothing you can do about it.

  37. kytreeclimber75 says:

Personally, I dont think he is. He lacks experience with the military and their policies. He lacks experience in financial matters on a scale of the national debt. His voting record in the Senate is scary to say the least and I wonder where America is going to end up because of it. His plan for withdrawl from Iraq is shaky and will leave the people of Iraq in more turmoil than they are currently in, and we are the ones who put them there. We have a responsibility to help them gain some control of their lives and rebuild some of the places of employment we destroyed. Obama’s plans for education reform are just as rediculous as Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” act. Our children are not going to learn ANYTHING as long as we keep making excuses for why they can’t learn. They need to stop excusing laziness in homework policies. Kids who fail their classes in high school need to be held back, especially if their failure is due to just not doing their work. Obama doesn’t have a plan to change this.

  38. pixidoas243w says:

they don’t know also, but they do know that he will bring change and that change will bring hope, and the hope is to change.

also they think his tax plan will give em a few extra bucks in there pockets, but at the new rates there going to loss more then now., and the cutoff of 250k is at 120k and probably dropping fast.

also the idea of free health care is good incentive,. but that health care comes as a price and its called taxes.

also its cool to vote black, to many jumped on the bandwagon to prove there not racist, but we know there all bigots and they know it to.

  39. cleavetoo says:

If you don’t know then you weren’t paying attention to the two campaigns. One of the great indicators (usually) of how a person will govern as President is how they run their campaigns. McCain’s campaign was inconsistent, off topic, undisciplined, lacked focus, started and stopped three separate times.

Obama’s campaign and everyone connected to it (except Joe Biden a couple of times) was on message, on topic, on time, focused and consistent, 24/7 for the past two years. Even Obama only made a few very small errors in his comments over the two years. They handled damage control masterfully. They organized entire communities to get out the vote. They raised money like no one has ever raised money before. And they did it legally without soft money or 527s or lobbists. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Plus, they had policy. They talked about policy in almost every speech. They rarely ever talked about the other party except to dispel rumors and even then, they spent just a short time on that and moved on to policy. McCain/Palin rarely ever talked about policy. They mostly talked about Obama. Rather than proving their case on how qualified they were they tried to prove the case that Obama was unqualified. This is not a strategy.

  40. His Divine Shadow says:

He isn’t. I am a former Obama supporter who backed McCain.

  41. Radar says:

Here Here! I’ve asked the same question and gotten the same response as these…”you’ll never know” “he’s better than Palin” etc

No one has an answer because he’s the most inexperienced President we’ve had in modern times (at least since the early 1900′s).

  42. Ansi C says:

Get over it. He’s not just fit to be president. He is the president.

  43. jim s says:

Barack is fit to be president because he talks about hope. hope and change. and the hope that change brings. Because without hope there is no change. and without change, we might lose hope,. And Obama knows this. So he gives us hope.hope to change the way we hope about change. You’ll see, yes we can! We can hope for change! Hope we yes the can! Change hope we can yes. yes can hope change…

  44. mscasuality1984 says:

the same reason you thought the rest would be you vote for the person who will stand by you your needs as an american

  45. babybird says:

I need to know why would you think he is not?

  46. Markymark says:

Jackie Oh! had the right answer.

It’s one of those things that “if you don’t get it…you never will”.

Obama is an eloquent, THOUGHTFUL, intelligent, rational and pragmatic LEADER.

If you don’t see and appreciate that….then….well, you’re just lost.

pres elect Obama will do us right. He loves this country.
Just look at the brilliant campaign he ran. that right there gives me all the hope for a POSITVE administration from this guy. I have full faith in him.

I want to thank Sen. Obama for running a very positive campaign.
    that’s why he won.

  47. sunshine! says:

Because he’s intelligent. People don’t want another dummy in charge of the country. With an intelligent leader, people will be able to trust his judgement and back his decisions. McCain demonstrated his inferior intelligence when he continued to contradict himself throughout the campaign and use immature tactics like name calling, and choosing Sarah Palin was the icing on the cake. The woman thinks Africa is a country and dinosaurs co existed with humans, for crying out loud.

  48. Victoria H says:

He was top of his class at harvard, and mcain was last, he ran a very clean campaign, not bashing or calling names like obama was aterrorist, a spy , mcain ran a campaign the old fashion way, and was going to be the same things bush has been doing, bush not only sank the us economy but the every country on the map is in bad shape, he led us to a resesion and mcain is on the same path, Obama to me represents the american dream , hope , I am an independent voter, so, i believe he can get the us to be respected again.

  49. me!!! says:

because he want to try and dig us out of this whole that moron put us in

nobody can do a worse job then Bush did

  50. lovindavid says:

wow i knew obama voters wouldnt have a good enough reason to vote for a Muslim, friends of terrorist kinda man! i sure hope he can keep us safe and make people get a job…if he can do that then ill support him

  51. Barry's Stooge says:

He’s fit to be President because he doesn’t espouse the tired political line of the past. BHO is forward-thinking by looking into the great ideas of the past and he isn’t ashamed to admit that he’s fed up with The American Dream because it isn’t fair.

People say he’s a Moslem; he says he’s a Christian. I say it doesn’t matter what he is except that he recognizes that all those Christians out there had better start apologizing to everyone else.
