Do you believe that the media has picked Barack Obama to be the next president?

It appears to me that Obama was picked by the media to be the president as they fail to criticize him and only seem to criticize John McCain and before Hilary Clinton in the Democratic Primaries. Even one has flaws, no one is perfect, thus every one should be criticize.

Do you think the media has chosen Obama to be the next president of the U.S. and doing his campaigning by portraying a false immage of Barack Obama?

  1. Democrat for McCain says:

    That’s pretty obvious.

  2. solutions4america says:

yes. but now that Hillary’s gone, he’s the lesser of 2 evils.

  3. lawrenceba549 says:

    I believe they are trying.

  4. no_racist president 2008 says:

    Yes….

African Americans will vote Democratic no matter what…

Muslim Americans will vote Democratic no matter what…

    Let the battle begin…

  5. OutFoxing Fox The HOLE says:

Nope the voters did. As far as criticism, I’ve seen all kinds about him…pastor, church, religion, guns, Bibles….ad nauseum. However, McCain seems to get away with murder and the media doesn’t say a word.

  6. William V says:

Yes I do, the same way Fox picked Bush to win the presidency in 2000.

  7. a_wood80 says:

No only the same media that picked Gore and Kerry to be the next President. it didn’t work then; I don’t think it will work now.

  8. Sarah D says:

Yes they have and the media and Obama will lose in Nov.

  9. nature lover says:

Yes I do, but the good thing is that I don’t have to vote for him. I’m boycotting the media, not voting.

  10. Independant says:

Yes and thanks to them, the Dems blew their chance.

  11. uncle evil says:

thats ok they picked dukakis, kerry, and gore also.a false image….no .a complete fabrication …yes

  12. McCain Is Older & WISER says:

Yes , most of the MEDIA are just plain stupid! When any of those lefts go on FOX they are beaten DOWN! Fox has the Smart ones and always shows them for who they are, just plain dumb! FOX has been threatened from the LEFTs that they want to shut them down- that is because they know Fox is the ONLY channel that tells the TRUTH!
The Lefts are against freedom of speech and our opinions they think they are know it alls and control FREAKS!

  13. shark&awe says:

YES THEY HAVE!!! Hopefully it will backfire when voters start to resent it.

  14. Moose says:

Not at all. The latest poll shows Obama up by 15 points. While other polls show a smaller lead, the trend is obvious. All rational media outlets should report the news that Obama is beating McCain.

If your concern is media bias, be concerned about edited transcripts of McCain talking about his love of country on Fixed Noise. They, Fixed Noise, is the most biased ‘news organization” in history. They can not be trusted.

  15. POLARIS says:

It appears you have hit the nail on the head. The out-of-the-mainstream press is mostly liberal and vote Democrat more often than not. It is clear that they are cheerleaders for this empty suit, Obama.

  16. Bill in Kansas says:

    DUH!

The media picking the most radical liberal socialist candidate — surely you jest

  17. Jersey Guy says:

Yes but ——”WE” THE PEOPLE HAVE NOT—– and will not!

    Proud Vet

  18. Ethel M says:

No I don’t. You have CNN over looking McCain’s graft, his campaign lobbyists ties to terrorists, you have Fox news (I need say no more about Fox) then you have MSNBC that is trying to keep things equal, telling on both campanies.

  19. The Tonic says:

    Yes! And so what?

Everybody knows McCain has no chance!

Lot of jealous McCain people out there. Too bad, so sad. NOT!

  20. Team Obama says:

No. Have you ever watched CNN, fox new, Shaun Hannity, Rush, Mark Levin and other conservative talk show radio.

  21. midcenturydesigner says:

    YES

A media creation, nothing more, nothing less.

  22. Grilled says:

Listen to Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity, etcetera and answer your own question.

  23. Bill Clinton says:

While media has a big influence, media does not pick a president, nor for that matter do the voters. Actually, the electoral college picks the next president. Why the founding fathers created this nonsense is beyond me. So in most elections your vote counts, but not in presidential elections.

  24. spence dog says:

most definitly, they were telling hillary to quit when she still could of pulled it off.

  25. TruthSeeker says:

I don’t think there is any doubt about it. How can anyone explain one of the top news stories of two top level democrats receiving sweetheart deals from Countrywide that were totally inappropriate only being reported on FOX and in print media. CNN, NBC, and MSNBC have completed ignored the fact that these two top level democrats are blatantly abusing their position and are in the position of power to sell out the American home buyer as they did by putting so few limitations on sub-prime lending. It’s disgusting.

The media is so far in the tank for Obama that they will not even report legitimate news that happens to shine a negative light on the democrats.

  26. davejs1551 says:

Besides Fox yes, many of them didn’t mention his pledge when they talked about him not accepting public funds, instead they said how much he is out raising McCain and support his reasons

MSNBC is the worst. They basically feel that Obama is the best of whats around and i don’t think they ever criticized him. They were talking about the newsweek poll where Obama has a huge lead (that isn’t accurate) and talked about how great he is for a while and brushed off other polls where he is leading by 2 or 4

so yes, most of the media is rooting for Obama, everything is either a non-issue or easily justified to them

  27. Flyflinger says:

Well the Fat Cat Socialist Democrats selected him now the Liberal media is tring to get him elected. How great would the world be if Democrats could thing for themselves.

  28. Chronos says:

That seems to be the preemptive excuse the republicans are using to explain why their candidate isn’t doing better in the polls. The fact is that people are unhappy with the way the republicans have been running things for the past 8 years. That’s not the media’s fault.

  29. dadacoolone says:

I think the American people will choose Obama not because
of the media but because of what he offers,a change from the last eight years! Its not true the media has not focused on Obamas flaws but most has stayed away from reporting the none sense that fox news has reported because unlike fox
    most media bureaus have responsibility!

  30. Owen Newitt's duck says:

The media is still doing its best to prevent his winning. It is the people that are pushing for him

In the past month, for the first time, the Bush/McCain campaign made raised almost as much money as the Obama Campaign. Both raised about $25 million, close to what Hillary overspent on her attempt. The big difference is that in the Obama Campaign, that came from a million donors. In the Bush/McCain Campaign it came from about two hundred lobbyists.

  31. R.M.G! says:

The Media, formerly known as the Clinton News Network(CNN), etc., has ALWAYS sucked up to Liberal Democrats. That gives Liberals a “leg up”, as they get so much “free press”. Republicans always have to “earn” everything they get, and it “tastes better”, because we “earn” OUR victories!

  32. kd8zatarrldotnet says:

Yes, absolutely true, the media likes Obama because he is atypical. Essentially he is the only story that they can incite voters into commenting, because voters either like or hate him.

  33. Lis says:

I agree with you. I am disgusted they won’t publish on TV all the terrorist connections of Obama.

ALSO i noticed TV media has nearly CEASED mentioning terrorism worldwide.

  34. Isabel M says:

Yes, the media has picked Obama, I can not understand why some questions of concern are not raised by the media. If you email the stations they disregard any thing of a question about Obama they do not agree with. Why can’t the public be informed on everything and then be allowed to make their own decision?

  35. sgtmac_46 says:

I absolutely believe that the media has picked Obama to be president. It’s obvious by their coverage of him. The tone of the coverage is that the presidential race is just a ‘formality’ and they already want to talk about an Obama presidency. Mention of McCain is only in passing, and usually takes the form of defending some criticism of Obama with some version of ‘Oh yeah, well McCain also…..blah, blah, blah’.

  36. Gaspode says:

No, that is foolish. The media generally will report what people expect or want. They are just a form of show business and their sole purpose is to sell air time at the highest rate they can. For that reason they report what the people want to hear. FOX is an exception, just as religious stations are, they are subsidized to present a point of view by people selling it rather than by companies selling physical products. They want to own your mind not just your money.

  37. Brunette Bombshell says:

Yes, I think the media has picked Obama. He’s young (for a pres candidate), charismatic, attractive, articulate, he reminds people of JFK, he has presence and “awe.” This country has been looking for a hero, someone out of left field to come in and captivate the nation….enter BHO.
