Do you think Hillary Clinton would have won the Presidential election if Barack Obama had not won the primary?
I’m thinking that Hillary would have been a shoe in. The Republicans already saw the writing on the wall and were expecting a democrat to win. But Barack Obama’s extreme leftist associations, and lack of experience, and his VP pick is fodder for conservatives criticizing the democrat ticket. Next time pick a more moderate candidate like Joe Lieberman.

No. I think that McCain would have made a better VP choice, which would have led to him being President.

she is too much of a known quantity and voted with the president too many times herself

Nope, she couldn’t even raise enough money to fund her primary race which is a clear indication that she wouldn’t have been able to get enough money for her to run up against McCain’s smear tactics the way Obama is doing. And there would be smears galore.
Almost definitely – and she wouldn’t even have had to register dead people and house pets to do it.
And that’s coming from someone who wouldn’t have voted for her either. I just think that she would have made more of an impression on people than McCain, and the only thing that’s holding McCain’s supporters (including myself) together at this point is the fact that Obama’s radical leftist thing is just flat out scary.

Absolutely she would have won, and I’ll tell you why…..
Because if she won the primary, SHE WOULD HAVE PICKED OBAMA AS VP!! and 18 million women + 18 million black voters = no chance for the Republicans.
She had experience and a proven track record, he has star appeal and hope for the black community, and the republicans would not have had a chance.

Obviously you were too young, or don`t have the memory to realize that Bill presided over the best 8 years the US had ever seen in the last century. What didn`t you like about it? The peace or the prosperity? –
