@MrPatriot424 As much as I am disturbed by what so many are saying, I would disagree that most of it is racism, some yes though. I think most of it is due to people who blindly defend an idealism that complete freedom (including for corporations) is always better than their paranoid fears that regulations and important government actions will lead to tyranny. Lack of education and capacity for nuanced and complex thinking is the biggest problem in my opinion.

No one said there is an ideology that is better than capitalism…but what is undeniably better is capitalism with sensible regulations, not allowing corporations to get richer at the expense of the lower and the middle class. Why is there more wealth in the hands of fewer & fewer people and more & more economic inequalities? Is that the kind of capitalism you are for…because that’s what we have been seeing for a long time? And it is what reps & many conservatives defend.

Obama did not double the unemployment. The problems started with Bush. The problems were SO bad, that it would be ridiculous to think that ANY President could come in, wave a magic wand, and make it all go away in less than 2 years. I think people are so used to instant gratification that they expect huge problems to just disappear. If they don’t then they blame and hate instead of figuring out a way to help.
