The media pumped him up, not negatively effected him. Unless you watched Fox News, of course. The people on Y!A have given him the most negative response, but they’ll soon learn.

The media has done nothing but praise a man who has done just that – NOTHING. To answer the rest of your question Americans are selling their stocks, hiding their money and buying guns in record numbers. I think this could be interpreted as people responding in a mildly negative way.
It’s not the media that has negatively impacted Barack Obama. He did that to himself! HE is the one that is connected to Ayers & Wright. The media didn’t cook that up! IT’S FACT.
The media was biased when it came to Obama. (Except FOX… made it a clean fight.)
You want to look into someone that was negatively treated by the media… try looking at Sarah Palin.

Media negatively? Where? The media anointed him 18 months ago. He is the messiah,savior, master of the planet. They did not even check his tax returns much less do any investigation of his Criminal Close friends.
So there has been NO affect except to put him on their mountain top and fall on their knees to worship him.
In truth, a major part of modern media is conservative talk radio that fills AM airwaves for 8 working hours a day. There, Obama has never been able to catch a break. It’s from places like that that the famous old lady who stood up at the McCain meeting got her “information” about Obama being an Arab.
So to answer you directly, while much of the media seemed to support him, a good slice of it did not at all, and were very ugly and hateful about it.
This should be more like, ” How the media destroyed the life of a single father, otherwise know as Joe the Plumber.”
Interesting they can dig up every last square inch of dirt on this guy, but the minute someone finds Obama’s cell phone records it’s all ‘ Wait a minute…that’s not RIGHT!”
