Would it be appropriate if I as a McCain supporter offered an apology to Barack Obama and his supporters?

On behalf of myself I would like to offer an apology to Barack Obama and his supporters.

Someone yelled “kill him” at a campaign ralley. This was innappropriate and this person does not speak for all of Senator McCain’s supporters.

I certainly want to beat Senator Obama in the election and send him back alive and healthy to the Senate.

Would such an apology be appropriate and accepted?

    its is appropriate and accepted.

    I don’t believe you.

One schmuck can really screw up things,

  4. katydid says:

The person who was speaking at the time should have stopped it the moment it happened. An apology is appropriate but not from you. McCain/Palin are the ones who need to make amends. Can you imagine the racist remarks that would be flying if it had happened at an Obama rally?

  5. Bridge To Somewhere says:

Yes, it would be appropriate, but too little, too late.

sarah palin should have spoke out right after “kill him” was shouted (but she didn’t)

It’s been DAYS since the incident and mccain STILL hasn’t spoken out against the hate and anti-Americanism behind that screech.

    Ditto Albus

  7. handyrandy says:

It would be appropriate. And President Obama would accept it. In Waukesha, Wi., it was more like a KKK rally than a campaign rally. It was shameful

  8. Phil M says:

Its appropriate and accepted, but it is unnecessary on your behalf.

Nobody should have to apologize for some nut’s words, except the nut himself and the people who encouraged that type of outburst.

    dually noted though.

  9. lil17 says:

If you are sincere then it will be accepted.

  10. Avatar says:

Actually, it does make me feel better. It’s good to know at least some of the people with McCain see a need for national honor and pride over racism and hate.

Honestly, from one person to another, thank you. It helps me feel better to be an American.

No, just like the radical Muslims they see that as a sign of weakness and don’t forget, they are the ones that are always screaming “freedom of speech”.

  12. psycho_lycious says:

once you get on your kness and beg for mercy-I will accept your apology
