Who would be a better President than Barack Obama and why?
A lot of people have expressed outrage and fearfulness that Barack Obama will be our next president. Who would they rather see as president and why?
I am not really interested in why someone does not like Obama. I am interested in knowing what they like about another candidate and it doesn’t need to be a candidate that was on the 2008 ballot.

I would rather see a true conservative like Bobby Jindal or Mike Huckabee as president. Ronald Reagan had to clean up Carter’s mess, so we’ll need a true conservative to clean up after Obama.

For me, it is pointless to play the “what if” game now that we have a president-elect. However, my biggest and greatest fear for the next four years is how Obama will conduct himself in the foreign affairs arena.

None would be a better president than Barack Obama because in a democracy, the best one for the job is the one chosen by the majority of the voters. The American people have spoken.
Other candidates views were largely either too right or left wing based. No one else really seemed to have a sensible agenda short of an outright revolution that would merely have thrown our system grossly out of balance in an instant when in fact a sensible approach somewhat less than subservient to the ultra wealthy was and is in order.
I wish Stephen Colbert ran. Come on… at least the speeches would be funny. His writers seem to be more in touch with what is really going on than most politicians are, too.
Personally, I think Bill Richardson was the most qualified candidate during either party’s primaries. Here’s his resume:

Governor of New Mexico
He has legislative, foreign policy, energy policy, and executive experience.
He is also a moderate on many of the hot button issues.
Look, I’m an independent and this election grated my nerves completely. Both candidates and the media were insulting to informed voters. I don’t believe in voting for someone based on color or sex. If anything I’m a bit old school and prefer to see a man in leadership roles (I know, how very outdated of me). I do however think Hillary would have made a far better candidate that McCain or Obama. She has a great deal of experience, insider knowledge, a strong worldwide standing…and the list goes on.
Joe Biden – Because is an expert in forgein policy, has over 35 years in the Senate and know how washington already works.

From day one after being forced to be in the country, us blacks had to stick together because we were ALL victims (and still is) . You don’t understand that us black people are in a struggle TOGETHER! We were brought here on slave ships against our own will and had to fight for our rights as a WHOLE ever since. So why would we change up now? BTW, we didn’t vote for Obama because he’s black. We voted for Obama because he’s black and QUALIFIED! It’s not like we’ll vote for “Flavor Flav”!
