  1. Sam says:

After five years in Iraq, the U.S. military has suffered over 33,000 casualties, more than 29,000 wounded and 4,000 dead.
    You’re concerned about …trust?

  2. Grilled says:

You must be talking about McCain who claimed Obama reneged on his promise to take to take public campaign financing. The DNC is suing his campaign for using promises of public fund to continue his campaign on borrowed money. Now that his wealthy friends have come to bail out his finances he wants to back out of the public funding restraints. I guess the courts will settle this dispute between the two campaigns. Personally I think both campaigns have been less than transparent about their finances.

  3. ruttster says:

I see the OBAMAID drinkers are trying to say that it’s wonderful that he won’t be taking money from special interests. I see they have learned to lie as well as their clueless leader. He skipped public financing so he can except even MORE money from special interests. Can any of these Obamaid drinkers promise me he won’t take MILLIONS of dollars from a foreign interest (George Soros)?
If they do they are bigger liars than I thought.

  4. Uncle Pennybags says:

He’s shown to me that not only is he a lightweight when it comes to foreign policy and economic policy, but that he is now untrustworthy.
Honestly, what do some of you guys see in him, other then he claims to represent change?
McCain is still taking the public financing. All of you who claim McCain is not are lying. See the link below.

  5. Clarence S says:

The 50 states funded it, we want to see our money abolish McCain and the Republicans.
I’m glad he sidestepped that rule. We knew he might do this months ago. You Republicans knew this was coming, don’t act surprised now. : D
Tears is all I see here on Yahoo! Answers Election section today, they taste sweet Repubs. lmao.

  6. Bobbie says:

It is a non issue for me really. Obama said he would take public money if McCain would take it too, and McCain wouldn’t take it.
With all the flip flopping done by McCain I hardly think this should even matter remotely to Mccain supporters.

  7. David H says:

Obama sounds like a deficit hawk to me. True conservatives actually appreciate that.
    MCCAIN’S ON THE DOLE EVERYBODY.
Why should we taxpayers have to finance his pathetic campaign of bankrupt failure?
    Good luck in November.

  8. andypand says:

Well for one thing, rezko who was just charged with fraud, should that not have been a hint for all the sheeple!! who are gonna vote for him, wake up people, do more research, its your future, do not ruin it for the generation to come!!!!
    GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

  9. pacific storm says:

No money from lobbyists and interest groups.
No federal matching funds for the Presidential
campaign. Obama wants to use his own campaign money.
Now, tell me what is wrong with that?

  10. rukiddin says:

He can make more if he doesn’t take the public funds. He’d be a fool if he took it. I think they all should be forced to take it and not be allowed to raise any more; puts everybody on a equal footing.

  11. David S says:

PLZ…you must be joking. Do your research on this please. Read the full stories. Understand what Obama promised and what he didn’t promise.
    Do a little work here.

  12. Randolph R says:

I would sooner trust Osama bin Laden with a machine gun than Barack Osama

  13. Love Canada says:

If he makes a better decision than yesterday, then thats ok

  14. Princess Buffy says:

    He is very dishonest

  15. babe says:

you have got to be kidding.

  16. mrskevke says:

Oh please, McCain has changed all his views that he’s had on day one.

  17. Retired says:

Last November, he promised to take public funding. Now he’s not. He is nothing more than a cheap and common liar. I’ve lost track of all the lies this guy has told.

  18. meowquee says:

You are complaining that he won’t take money from lobbiest and special interest groups?
I am a Democrat who supported McCain.. until this past year when he has changed on EVERYTHING I appreciated about him. It seems that after being defeated by Bush, he ( McCain ) is willing to change his core beliefs in order to be electable.

  19. . says:

Dearie, he broke it because McCain broke it.
